Our team of radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, therapist and nurses are all specially trained to treat specific cancers and we work side-by-side with other Johns Hopkins experts, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, pathology, and interventional radiology to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, using targeted technology. Our patient safety program - cited as one of the best in the nation - employs quality assurance protocols and innovative techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our patients.

Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology department is currently searching for a PRN (less than 19 hours per week) Radiation Therapist Assistant. As a Rad Therapy Assistant you will work under the direction of a medical physicist and support quality in the department. The radiation therapy assistant must adhere to Johns Hopkins Hospital policies, procedures, regulatory standards set forth by JCAHO, and HIPAA as well as the policies and procedures stated in the Radiation Therapist policy and procedure manual.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ​​​​​​Associate or Bachelor’s degree. Enrollment in radiation therapy program OR bachelor’s degree in science field preferred.
  • No experience required

Shift:

PRN (as needed)

19 hours per week or less
